An old NG user who refuses to accept Flash is no longer viable for game dev. I just want to make games and live peacefully. Is that too much? I once placed in the top 5 of the month. Started with sprite animations, then learned music, design, and coding.

Ugh....whatever I do it doesn't work. I stumbled upon this page AFTER uninstalling adobe flash. I wanted to try it, so I reinstalled it from a trusted site. However, the fixes that you mentioned didn't work and whenever I rebooted my computer, flash would delete. I tried the flash player 30.0.0.134 link you added, but that didn't work. Also tried the fix on that. I have Microsoft Edge if that helps. Can't believe the trouble I have to go through just to play Wheely.

If I were to upload or submit an animation or game, where would I put "/format/flash?emulate=flash"? the description, commentary or tags?

Hey So im Trying to find these files where can i find them?
C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash\mms.cfg
C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash\mms.cfg
You need to create those files or download them on my blog entry.

@GoldenHunter24 @Sonucais i believe what he wants to know is how to find the system32 folder and such. At least that would be my guess
@GoldenHunter24 @Sonucais which to clarify @GoldenHunter24 you are going to open your file explorer and look for windows and then find system 32 and syswow64 respectively which would be located under the windows folder. Within the system32 and syswow64 folders you should ve able to find the files flash uses and replace those. @sonucais you can correct me if im wrong but essentially thats the jist you can find this stuff through your computers file explorer.

At first newgrounds worked for me but afte that white screen thing and me trying to fix it it appears i messed it up, whenever i try opening newgrounds player it says that i need to download the plugin and whenever i do that, the installer says i've already got the last version in microsoft internet explorer, running the installer with compatibility mode gives me the 1722 error

Don't open the Newgrounds Player from the exe, do it from Newgrounds page. Just like this:
