If by Bamboo you mean the one for $70, I'd say it probably isn't worth it, I have the Bamboo small, and it sucks because you have to position it in a way so that you'll be able to use it, but, it is the cheepest, but I'd rather get the Cintiq 12 wx, but that's $999.00...
Totally cant get a 999$ tablet for just a hobby.
