I’ve got a ton of stuff to share, and maybe I’m oversharing, but hey, if even a few people care, that’s good enough for me.
I finally got a new computer: an ASPIRE M3610. My old PC was barely hanging on, so this is a huge upgrade. Flash doesn't crash anymore when I open big projects, which is amazing. No more delays like with Furry Random Stuffs 3, which I uploaded a day late because Flash kept freezing. Now I’ve got three computers and a laptop. Not bad, huh?
Since Christmas, I’ve been using my Wacom CTF-420 tablet more seriously, and I’m finally getting the hang of it. I actually got it a year ago, but back then my screen was too small, and it just didn’t feel right. Now it works perfectly, and I’m considering switching to hand-drawn cartoons or anime-style animations next year. Honestly, sprite movies aren’t as fun as they used to be. I mean… let’s be real. Sprite animations have kinda died here on Newgrounds.
Back when I joined, there were tons of them, some really good ones too. Now, it’s mostly Mario stuff, and even the well-animated ones just aren’t that funny anymore. How many truly good sprite movies have you seen recently? (And no, don’t mention the latest Front Page one or @Randy-Solem’s LoZ thing).
I’m still waiting for Power Star 4, by the way. Also, it’s tough to find people who still care about sprite movies. Some folks act like they’re above it all, and a few even tried to copy my ideas (yep, that actually happened). But anyway, Tails and his GBA 4 is still happening, so no worries there. I’m not quitting sprite animation entirely.
Legend of Pokémon DX parts 1 and 2 have been cancelled, no big dramatic reason, just lost interest. Oh, and I’m part of the Clock Crew too, in case you didn’t know. I’d really love to start making games soon. Visual Basic is actually helping me learn ActionScript, and I’m almost at the point where I can make a basic game. I’ve posted some WIPs over on SheezyArt if you want to check them out.
Do I have to say something else?... thinks ... Oh yeah, in around 3 or 4 weeks I will be free! My work will be totally finished so I will be able to sleep at day! 54 hours left (+ extra days so I will be able to buy something). I'm getting tired of writing all this stuff already. Let me check if I have to say something more... I got a Microsoft Word and Excel certificate because I passed the Microsoft Office Specialist exams. If you want to download games I hosted to Megaupload, you'll need to resist because I can't upload them here!
Sigh… Time to get back to my Visual Basic homework. Take care, stay creative, and yeah, it’s raining outside.

Why does America's Brawl release have to be so much later than Japan's? I doubt that Nintendo is even adding any extra features. Ah well. Super Mario Galaxy still pwns any other game ever made.
It's cool that you've got a working Wacom tablet. I've been wanting a tablet for a while, but I think for now I can still handle using the mouse. Heh, maybe I can borrow one of Luis's tablets (I wish).
I think Randy stopped working on his The Legend of Zelda sprite movie. He had shown me all the parts he already made (and I actually helped with part of it) but it's been a while since he last said he made any progress on it.
I hope Daniel Sun is still working on Power Star 4. His last several submissions have all been drawn mini-games. I'd much rather have Power Star 4 than any of that, heh.
As The-Leper-Affinity said, happy 10th post =)
Sonucais (Updated )
Think about it. Almost every game you buy is probably from Japan, so why should it come out in America first? They don’t even add any extra features. In fact, sometimes the US version is missing stuff, like that Kirby song that wasn’t shown on the US Dojo update site.
Super Mario Galaxy... I really need to go back to that when I have some free time :)
Tablets are actually cheap nowadays. Even Luis uses a mouse :D
So... Randy is e-dead now? Someone help him with his sense of humor and originality.
Daniel Sun made one of the few Mario series I actually enjoy. Who said a Mario movie has to be funny anyway?
