i am so confused i don't think i will ever be able to play on newground again and this makes me sad
I'm thinking about making something next month, my own player that works by copy pasting the id number / link.
Tried the manual deletion, regedit and the uninstaller by adobe. I have the newgrounds flash installer, but when I try to uninstall or repair, it says that flash isnt installed, but when I try to install it, it says that Internet Explorer has flash built-in and installs nothing. Help.

thanks Sonucais for creating this tutorial but i m having problems i guess why but i m not sure
so i download the file and find the two folders and put the file there i try and dont work so i restarted my PC and still dont work so i stop and give a read in the official site from iron rage and that says new windows 10 update removes adobe flash from the pc and yep its removed from my pc and for some reason the folders still there
for any other people who have the new update check the programs list

@ChronoRulez @Sonucais I figured out how to get it working but an update keeps installing every few days taking it back up to .445 and I have to uninstall it. pretty annoying. any way to keep flash player from doing that?
Windows does it. I've not found a solution to that. mms fixes it, but still, annoying.
hey i was trying to play Madness: Project Nexus (Classic) and Im having an issue with the newgrounds flash player when lauching the game. After I click Launch the flash player asks me to accept/refuse local saving. Only problem is that I cannot close the window with the question

Hey there! So recently I had my computer fixed and as I'm only now remembering about my newgrounds account I try to see if the player would work. I installed the player again but every time I try and play something it has this message "Newgrounds Player requires the Adobe Flash plugin. Do you want to install it now?" every time I click this it doesn't lead me to an install. Anyone talk about this before?

Flash forwarder and this just wont work for me, I've tried extracting the config files, the workarounds, and for the Flash Forwarder no matter what I do (Keywords, Url, ect.) it just wont load the submission. Even hitting give me a random submission will just infinity try to load it to no avail...
okay so i have updated to the recent newgrounds player, on windows 10 i believe. So i am trying to play "Paws" a 2009 game so when it tells me to launch it to the player, everything goes smoothly and i can see the title screen of the game and the animation of trees moving but there is a symbol, "X". I thought i have to press 'x' on the keyboard so it shows the menu but nope it didnt work. Even pressing 'enter' button, it didnt work. I found this strange, bcoz it boots up the game fine, but after that nothing.
okay so, i think the problem lies in the game, bcoz i played another older game from 2007 which is, 'A walk in the park' and it is working fine. idk why 'Paws' isnt working, ah well.
I think I may have discovered part of the issue some people may be facing. When downloading the flash player, I initially went to uninstall it, and I noticed the version said ( 1.0.0 ). So when uninstalled, re-downloaded and went to check in <control panel/programs and features>, the version was still 1.0.0 (this is on Windows 8 by the way).
Not sure if this affects anything but I thought I'd point it out. I not knowledgeable at all in terms of how this stuff really works so sorry if I'm just putting on unnecessary info.
had a problem with my pc and had to download everything all over again, but i found myself missing the flash player plugin required to launch Newgrounds Flash Player in the first place;
i can't tell if this version has been added to the guide or not, but i found this link to an old version of flash on one of the threads about the problem and it's the only one that has worked for me twice, so i figured i'd share it here for future reference:

basically you download this version of flash, then the newgrounds flash player, then the mms.cfg file for the fix (if needed), and it should work.
Think you can make one for apple computers as well? I really wanna play the old flash games on my computer.

@Sonucais Hi, I'm new to the site and am still having problems with Newgrounds Player. I'm running Windows 10 and have the latest version of Flash, but the Player does not work (I have Version 1.0.6 too). The SWF's I have are all saved offline, but loading them gives me the killswitch icon for Adobe. I downloaded the mms file and put them in both Adobe folders, but still the issue remains. Any thoughts would be appreciated! Do you know if anyone has made a video walkthrough either?

I solved this a tons of times. To load offline swf, dont use NG Player, use this instead. http://www.joycot.com/downloads/flash/flashplayer32.exe
