An old NG user who refuses to accept Flash is no longer viable for game dev. I just want to make games and live peacefully. Is that too much? I once placed in the top 5 of the month. Started with sprite animations, then learned music, design, and coding.

You might have to create it.

yes, create the full path if it does not exist. folder by folder and place the mms there

I cant find install_flash_player_32_active_x.msi because the newgrounds flash player download just includes the executable, not a folder? when it asks to install flash it pops up "windows comes with the latest version installed" and takes me to the adobe end of life page.
The standalone flash player works, but for the newgrounds player I cant find a way to reinstall the plugin after removing it now?
There's a new NG Flash Player update. If it keeps failing you can try a new workaround I made. Hope it helps.

I managed to get NG Player working again, but I do want to ask this: When trying to get the NG Player to work again, I tried using the RunAsDate as one of my initial options, but I got a 216: unknown error when I tried to run it. I looked the 216 error up, and I heard a trojan can cause that error. Is the RunAsDate program/site actually safe and could the 216 error have been caused by something else?
People recommended it on Reddit. It semmed to work for them.
@Sonucais I did exactly what you told me, and its still showing the icon when I open newgrounds flash player, thought it works with some games and some other games so idk. Is there a way to check if the game is compatible for me to play?
NG players works with everything. Tell me, how are you using the player?
I'm having some issues that I can't figure out how to get around. My Windows came with a pre-installed Adobe Player that I removed (stupidly) when the EOL date passed. Windows tells me when I try to download anything related to installing Flash that I have the most up-to-date version... which obviously isn't true. The solutions listed are to remove the things that are already gone, yet my OS still won't let me do anything.
Any links that lead to the Adobe site are redirecting me to the EOL page. Most of the fixes aren't useful without an actual player, unfortunately for me. The archive files I've tried also haven't worked; my system doesn't know what the F to do with any of them. They can only open in Wordpad with absolutely nothing of value, because that's not their purpose lol.
I can download executables, but I don't know how to make those work in the NG player. It doesn't recognize it and I can't force certain games into the Adobe player that are built for use with the NG Player. I'm sort of in a catch-22 of failures to play anything right now. The only thing in this long list of helpful info that I can make use of is Ruffle, which still only works with some games in browsers. This is exhausting ;;

@Sonucais How your supposed to use it I guess, you click on it where it says "load with newgrounds player" or something like that, it works with some games, but for the majority of games I tried playing, they all usually pop up with the image that takes me to the adobe website and not the actual game itself.
Uh, thats weird. Can you link the games? Try unistalling an installing the player again.
@Sonucais I tried those again to see if anything changes. I have the 30.0.0.14 installer and it tells me it's installing things, but then it finishes without changing anything. It just says it installed something it didn't. The uninstaller also didn't change anything, as I've used it already after the EOL date passed (and a few times since to try fixing this)

Hi, the issue that im having is that the update i have is the one 32.0.0.387 not 32.0.0.330 so i cannot uninstall that. Can you help me with that ? Thank you very much in advance.

You need to do the config thing then or change your date then.
